We had a drop-ceiling in our “playroom” when we moved in – it was somehow stained with something that looked like urine. (How???) Here’s the only remaining photo of that room before we replaced that (maybe urine- stained??) drop-ceiling with sheetrock… Added bonus : a snapshot of our kooky British contractor:

Chaleece Roberts was in charge of the Capital Partners remodel project in Edina – she told me that she loved working with the client because not only are they cute and cuddly (I think she said that??) but they are like a little family and have a lot of fun working together. They wanted more of a contemporary/industrial feel that would mirror the world they are (quickly and surely) leading the way in: Industrial Real Estate. Drop-ceilings had to be replaced, mood-lighting needed to fill the space, and the new bar-lounge area makes me want to chillax/purchase some Industrial Real Estate.

Behold the BEFORE (with that drop-ceiling! Blech! Sorry, no snapshot of our kooky British contractor.):

And here’s a shot of some of the NEW AND IMPROVED space:

Stay tuned for less drop-ceilings and more Tanek!
