Tanek designs some beautiful “flats” (isn’t that SO European??) – including Harvester Lofts: Part archeological discovery, part reinvention; the Harvester Lofts capture the spirit of Minneapolis – from it’s beginnings as a mill town to it’s innovative use of local goodness. Urban living is not a paradox, it is a lifestyle. (Dammit) The adaptive reuse of the city’s original architecture is not only important, it is beautiful. Borrowing a little flavor from that industrial era, that pre-plastic era – the building’s new life as a modern loft feels right at home in the warehouse district.
